UA&P Invades Short and Sweet Manila 2017

It was truly a milestone for the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), especially the Theater Arts and Literature departments, when a whopping number of forty-one students and faculty with their seventeen plays landed multiple spots in the prestigious Short and Sweet Manila Theater Festival 2017. Among them were thirty-three playwrights, seven actors, and two directors (see complete list below).

Our playwrights, actors, and directors are gearing up for their respective shows for the second week. Hopes are high that more plays will be crowned audience favorites for the coming set of shows this weekend.

In case you missed the first week of plays, the show goes on for Short and Sweet Manila 2017. You can still catch Week 2 for new sets of short plays featuring more of our dragons this September 22-24. Don’t miss this chance to watch and support our very own dragons as they steal the spotlight in this year’s Short and Sweet Manila 2017 Theater Festival!
